or wish to clarify the meaning of:

Seconds - Cards that
should be dealt directly after the next available card.
Shill - Player hired
by casino to attract players to a table.
Shoe - A rectangular
dealing device.
Soft hand - When a player
has Aces to the value of 11.
Spanish 21 - A variation
in which the rules are dramatically changed that is
not recommended for amateurs.
Splitting - The option
to create two hands when you receive two cards of the
same value.
Stake - 2% of a player’s
original bankroll.
Stiff up cards - 2, 3,
4, 5, 6.
Surrender - The option
to abandon ones hand and receive half of ones stake
back.
