How To Play Blackjack

Hitting

In most versions of blackjack a player can elect to “hit” a hand so long as the total remains below 21. Choosing to hit means that a player is dealt another card from the pack, face up.

Hitting is an action which may be repeated until the player is either satisfied with their total or they become “bust” by ending with a total higher than 21.

In a real world casino, the wish to hit is indicated to the dealer by pointing at ones cards, upon which the player will receive the next card out of the shoe. In an online casino, it’s just a case of hitting the right button when it’s lit.
