Money management

If a player manages their money correctly, they are virtually guaranteed to win more than they lose. There is far more to Blackjack than playing hands the right way. If a player has carefully mastered the arts of both Basic strategy and counting, there is still little point in playing Blackjack if they fail to make the correct financial decisions.

Money management, both in essence and in theory is simple. Instead of a player throwing their winnings straight back into the grateful hands of the casino, they must learn to treat them as a hard and rightfully earned income that should be either re-gambled wisely and frugally, or placed in the bank.
